Mission
The Principals’ Summit is an annual event designed for K-12 Principals, District Leadership Staff, Principal Supervisors, and School Leaders from across the nation to engage in professional development opportunities that will improve the outcomes of the well-being of teacher leaders.
Background
According to research by the Wallace Foundation Principal Supervisor Initiative, suggests that supporting principals by radically changing the job description of their supervisors to emphasize coaching and mentoring instead of operations and administration could refocus school communities on improving student achievement, retaining more teachers, and strengthening school climate.
Join us and other school leaders from across the nation for the 2020 Principal Summit. Attendees will participate in panel presentations and breakout sessions that provide networking opportunities that focus on how districts define and support the social-emotional work and professional development of school leaders.
